The first thing you should know about us is that we aren’t your average production company. We are Sawhorse. And Sawhorse slays.
With a collective 30 years of experience producing and editing features, documentaries, commercials, trailers, and web content, we approach every project with unrestrained creativity. Working with clients such as Participant Media, Motorola, Atlantic Records, Wikipedia, IAC, and Google, we live for client satisfaction and we have a kick-ass time doing it. How is this possible? We treat every project with the same importance and dignity regardless of its size or budget and we collaborate with clients to present their brand in the best way possible.
We work with top motion-graphics artists, cinematographers, copywriters, and UI designers— to name a few—and we keep it under one roof so you can save some gas money. Armed with these talented people, Sawhorse specializes in producing projects from soup to nuts.
We cast a wide net, so whatever you need, don’t be afraid to ask. We are very nice and some of us are adorable.
As a production company, Sawhorse will take your ideas, concepts, or storyboards and work with you to conceptualize and produce your project, always moving forward with your brand in mind.
Our producers know the drill and will make sure we are on time, on budget, and you are feeling good the whole way through.
The in-house directing duo, Blake and Nic love what they do and it shows. Between them, they have a huge body of work, can crush a pizza in 5 minutes, and know every Clash and KRS-1 song on the planet. Somehow this all adds up to successful projects.
We can shoot on fancy cameras or not. We can incorporate stunts and special effects or not. We can do the whole thing on a green screen and make it up with visual effects. All of this is possible. And with full-service post capabilities, we can see your project all the way to the finish line.
Our job is to make sure you get the “most out of your post” (T-Shirts coming soon).
We came from post. We are editors. That’s why, from production through the shoot, we operate with the edit in mind. This creates options in the cutting room, the ability to pick and choose and never settle. It allows our post-production team to explore every creative avenue and continue scripting long after the shoot is over. We think this is awesome.
We believe that collaboration is the key to making great work, and encourage our clients to sit with our editors in our screening room and edit bays. From ingesting RED footage, through editorial, music and color correction, nothing leaves Sawhorse until it is the best it can be.
